The poem " Roadside Stand" is a sympathatic & humane outcry against the economic disparity that prevails in the cities & the countryside. The poor deprived rustics wait for city money to roll into their hands so that they can also enjoy a comfortable life.But the city dwellers do not care to stop at the roadside stand. They are never impressed by the poor decor& never appreciate the roadside stand. They never stop there for refershments.
OBJECTIVES: To create awareness about the flow of money in to the hands of country folk.
The politicians should not make empty promises to the innocent country people.
